The Birmingham Eagles are an ice hockey club based at the University of Birmingham with players from all of the Birmingham Higher Education institutions. We have three teams in the British University Ice Hockey Association cup competions - A, B, and C playing in division II South (checking), division I South (non-checking), and division II South (non-checking) respectivley.

Interested in learning hockey or playing in the 13/14 season?
If you are interested in learning to play ice hockey, we hold beginners sessions on Wednesday afternoons which caters to people with limited or no skating / hockey experience. Visit the training page for more information.
If you have experience playing hockey and would like to play for one of the teams in the 2013/2014 season be sure to bring your kit to university with you as we will be holding try-outs in October 2013. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Wednesday beginners session - no skating / hockey experience is required and we will provide the necessary equipment (skates, gloves, helmets, sticks). As the time may vary slightly, please contact us or join the Beginners Session Facebook Group if you're interested in attending - £8/session.

If you have your own kit and would like to join us, please contact us first, as training times vary.
To be eligible to attend any training session or play for a team you must be studying at a recognised Higher Education insitution (includes Open University) and the Birmingham Eagles should be your closest BUIHA club.
